CIPPIC signs on to joint letter re: biometric passports

CIPPIC joined with Privacy International, the American Civil Liberties Union and numerous other civil society organizations in calling on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to delay the adoption of RFID or biometric standards for travel documents until a full privacy assessment of such a policy is completed.
