ART, REVOLUTION AND OWNERSHIP: Who owns the Public Domain?
Artists' Legal Outreach (ALO) in association with the New Forms Festival 2011 is presenting a multidisciplinary series of events aimed at exploring art, cultural expression, and the idea of the public domain, in copyright. The event adopts what promises to be a fascinating approach to exploring the topic, as it aims to do so through music, visual art and performance mediums, as well as through conversational-style interactions with leading copyright experts. The event will be held in Vancouver, from September 8-11, and will feature a number of different activities. Event details and descriptions can be found here. You can also visit the event website, and follow along with activities on Twitter: @art__revolution
